Terms and conditions of use

In our store, prices are quoted in euros (EUR) excluding VAT; the conversion into U.S. dollars (USD) is updated frequently, but exchange rates may vary slightly due to continuous currency fluctuations. Our prices do not include import duties or other customs charges payable at foreign customs offices.

VAT is chargeable on all private individuals resident in Italy and on customers resident within the European Community who do not hold a Community VAT number.
Customers outside the European Community are exempt from VAT.
Customers within the European Community who do hold a Community VAT number must notify us in advance; such orders will be shipped exempt of VAT, and the customer will be responsible for paying any national VAT in the destination country.

Purchase Methods

Tabularasa’s online shop offers three ways to place an order:

Immediate payment by credit card (we accept Visa, AmEx, Diners, Mastercard, PayPal)
Pro forma order with payment by bank transfer
Cash on delivery (available only within Italy)

All methods require the customer’s confirmation of the order; only a timely cancellation will void the commitment. If the product is unavailable and three business days elapse without shipment, the customer may request cancellation of the order and a refund of any payment already made.

Our catalog is constantly updated, but product descriptions may change without notice and are provided for information purposes only, without creating any binding obligation.

Shipping

Carrier: DHL oUPS, with real-time tracking provided to the customer.
Cash on delivery: Available exclusively within Italy.

Delivery times within Italy:

Mainland: 24 hours
Islands: 48 hours

International delivery:

Under 5 kg (Europe): DHL Express, 2–3 business days
Over 5 kg (Europe): DHL Express, 4–5 business days
Under 5 kg (USA, Canada & non-EU): UPS Express, 2–3 business days
Over 5 kg (USA, Canada & non-EU): UPS Expedited, 4–5 business days
Other countries: UPS Expedited, approximately 5 business days

Privacy

The personal data you provide are used exclusively to process your purchases. They will not be transferred or used for purposes other than those stated above. Data processing is carried out in full compliance with Italian privacy law (Law No. 196/2003), which defines “processing” as any operation performed with or without electronic means concerning the collection, storage, modification, communication, and dissemination of personal data. Under Article 7 of that law, you may at any time exercise your rights of access, updating, correction, deletion, and objection to the processing of your personal data.
